Intex Technologies on Monday launched its new Lions smart phone series with the launch of the Aqua Lions 3G smartphone. The smartphone is available for INR 4,990. This low priced handset as per company is designed for IPL cricket lovers, and is named after an IPL team owned by Intex. The Intex Aqua Lions 3G is has dual-SIM and it supports smartphone that runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. It features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) resolution display and is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, clubbed with 1 GB RAM.
The smartphone comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera along with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It also has 8GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 32 GB).It weighs 172 grams, the Intex Aqua Lions 3G measures 145×71.5×9.5 mm and is backed by a 3500 mAh Li-Po battery. The company claims that the battery can deliver up to 6-8 hours of talk time and 20 days on standby time. It also features a ‘battery saver mode’ that increases the battery life by up to 50 percent. The hand set has connectivity options of Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G, GPS and Micro-USB.
The smart phone comes with some pre-loaded apps as well as Intex Service, Follo, Opera Mini, Clean Master, NewsHunt, I-store, newshunt, Freecharge, Saavn, Hike messenger and more. They will be available in White, Grey and Champagne colour variants. With Gujarat Lions, Intex has further strengthened its association with cricket and youth. The Lions series will help reinforcing the brand association and enhance the connect with young consumers.
