Intex launches new Aqua Classic

A new entry level Aqua series smart phone has been unveiled by Intex. This smart phone which is called the Aqua Classic is available for INR 4,444. The Intex Aqua Classic is currently listed on the company site and it  is expected that soon it will be available in India in three color variants namely Champagne, Grey, and White colours.

The Intex Aqua Classic features a 5 inch FWVGA having 480 x 854 pixels display and for screen protection it comes with Corning Gorilla Glass. This smart phone comes with a pixel density of 196ppi. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based and is a dual SIM that is GSM+GSM smart phone. It is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Spectrum SC7731C processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and has inbuilt storage capacity of 8GB which can be expanded up to 32 GB with the help of a microSD card. The Intex Aqua Classic comes with a 5 megapixel primary camera with LED flash and also sports a 0.3 megapixel secondary camera. It sports a 2100mAh battery that provides 6 hours of talk time and also nearly 210 hours of standby time. It can be connected with the help of GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, A-GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, and Micro-USB. On one SIM the smart phone will support 3G and on the other SIM it will support GPRS/ EDGE. The Intex Aqua Classic smart phone comes preloaded with apps such as Matrabhasha, 360 security, OLX, Goibibo, Freecharge, Newshunt, Follo, Hike, Chaatz, Saavn, and Opera mini. This smart phone that weighs 160 grams measures 145.5 x 72.6 x 9.3 mm.

Last week another Intex smart phone that is the Aqua Sense 5.1 costing  INR 3,999 was revealed. As far as specifications are concerned  the Intex Aqua Sense 5.1 came with a 5 inch display with a screen resolution of 480 x 854 pixels and a pixel density of 294ppi; it ran Android 5.1 Lollipop; dual-SIM support; powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731) processor; 512MB of RAM; inbuilt storage capacity of 8GB which can be expanded with the help of a microSD card; a 2 megapixel primary camera; a 0.3 megapixel secondary camera, and backed by a 2500mAh battery.
