iPhone 7 in a Jet White Shade Might be Coming Your Way Very Soon

Much has been written about the incredibly glossy, and a pain in the wrong place to maintain, Jet Black shade of the iPhone 7. Maybe Apple wants those who like lighter, whiter shades to suffer too. The Cupertino based company is reportedly gearing up to launch a brand new Jet White colour for the iPhone 7 (both 7 and Plus) line. The development has been brought to light by Japanese Apple blog Mac Otakara.

Otakara claims that its sources within the Apple supply have reported that the management is considering introducing the shade as an option. While many would like to write off this piece of info as another rumour, it’s notable that Mac Otakara has been reliable with their reporting in the past.

Allegedly, according to Apple think tank, a new Jet White colour option would likely increase the model’s sales further. Also, the micro scratches, which are so clearly visible on the dark shade, would likely be much less visible on the lighter white shade. A new Jet White shade added the lineup would take the total number of colour offering for the iPhone 7 to six – silver, gold, rose gold, black, Jet Black and the new Jet White.

While the prospects of a new Jet White iPhone might thrill some of the audience, what could really make some news is the possible introduction of a Ceramic surfacing for the phone a La Apple Watch.  While the cost would be prohibitively high, and probably a distraction for the Apple team which is likely burning the midnight oil right now to conjure up something miraculous with the iPhone 8, it would be something to behold. We’re quite sure it’s not happening though.

There’s no substantial evidence to this Jet White iPhone 7 rumor as of now, though. Mac Otakara’s decent track record is the only reason why you’re seeing this post here, or else this one would’ve been blown in the air.

If there’s a follow up news on the topic, we’ll keep you posted. Stay tuned!
