Have an iPhone? What if your Apple iPhone starts taking time to respond? What if it gets slow or you stop receiving notifications regarding application updates? Don’t worry and just check out a weird way that helps you fix the problem. The solution to this problem is called Tap ten times technique. It is a very simple and easy solution to fix the problem. This solution was first figured out by the developer Zachary Drayer and the trick was first shared at AppAdvice.
How the Tap ten times technique works? There are few simple steps to be followed. Firstly, open up the App Store on your iPhone. Once the App store on your iPhone is open you will see a list of buttons in the bottom menu of the App Store. What you do next is select any random button from the list and tap on it. How many times do you tap on it? The button needs to be tapped 10 times in quick succession. The screen goes blank for a second. This might scare you a bit but be assured the problem will be solved.
As the screen goes blank as a result of successive tapping, the temporary storage gets cleared. Temporary storage can make your phone act sluggish or may even cause a failure in updating your apps. What you have actually done is successfully reset your App stores’s cache. Thus making the phone work faster and display/notify application updates properly.
The method is tested and verified. It was tried for other iPhone applications to check how they functioned subsequently. The Tap ten times technique was successful and worked for many applications such as the App Store, iTunes and iBooks. However, the method failed and didn’t work for applications such as Podcasts, Music, Game Center, Phone and iMessage. Try it out and let us know how it fares with your device. There is no harm in trying as no crash or damage has been reported so far.
