itel Mobiles introduces King Voice, a text-to-speech app for their devices in India

With an objective to provide better mobile-based connectivity solutions to the country’s consumer base, itel Mobiles from Transsion Holdings conglomerate has introduced a new app – the King Voice app. It is the company’s new stock app that converts text to speech and is vailable on itel’s recently launched smart keypad devices it5231 & it5320. King Voice works as a user friendly personal interpreter and is utility driven.

This new app can be activated via shortcut keypad commands. Upon activation, King Voice lets the user navigate through their smart keypad devices with the help of voice support. The app aids in hearing incoming messages and adds convenience to dialling & receiving calls as the app announces incoming calls as well as reads out the mobile address book.

 Feature of King Voice app are as follows-

Introduced initially on two smart keypad devices, itel plans to bring the app to their entire range in the coming future. The itel it5320 and it5321 are from the company’s smart selfie series and are basic phones with basic features. These 2G dual sim phones feature a 7.1cm screen with a 240×320 pixels resolution. It sports a VGA camera at the rear and a 0.3 MP cam in the front. The phones support microSD casrds upto 32GB capacity and come equipped with a removable 1900mAh, Li-ion battery pack.

As a part of the Phase 1 launch, itel mobiles are available across the markets of Uttar Pradesh East, Uttar Pradesh West, Jharkhand, Gujarat, Jammu & Kashmir, Bihar, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Rajasthan, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. The phase 2 plan includes market of Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya and Tripura.
