Lava announces the launch of two camera focused smart phones i.e. V2 3GB and V2s. These phones are successor to Lava Pixel V2 that was launched last year. The pricing of the phones are decided to be INR 10,750 and INR 8,750 respectively. The Mobile Indian spotted V2s much before this formal announcement. The phones are powered by MediaTek’s 64-bit quad-core processor. Both the devices are Cat4 4G LTE (VoLTE Upgradable) devices. They have a 5 inch HD IPS display.
V2s is provided with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and V2 (3GB) is provide with Asahi glass for display protection. Lava V2 3GB runs on Android Marshmallow and V2s runs on Star OS, an Android Lollipop based OS. The devices support dual 4G SIM slots with dual standby feature. V2 3GB weighs around 128 gms and is 7.6 mm thick while V2s weighs around 129 gms and is 8 mm thick. V2 3GB has a 3GB RAM with 16GB internal while V2s has a 2GB RAM with 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD card.
Lava V2 3GB sports a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera while V2s sports a 8MP rear camera and a 8MP selfie camera. The front camera has 84 degree wide angle lens and front flash light. Both the devices feature “MagicPix” software which features Multi Angle View, Night Pro, Face Beauty, Pic Focus (bokeh mode for subject focus with blurred background), Wide Selfie, GIF Maker along with Video and Panoramic Mode.
