Last week, it was heard that LeEco was working on a device with 8GB of RAM. If these reports that are flying in the air are to be believed then it will not be long before it becomes a reality. The company has put out an official teaser about an event that will be held on 29 June where the company has confirmed that at the Mobile World Congress, Shanghai they will be revealing a new device.
As per an earlier report, the render of LeEco’s new smart phone looks almost like the recently launched Le Max 2 with a metal build. Therefore, it is supposed that the coming device could be just another variant. There are rumors that the new device could be the Le Max 2 Pro. Much is not said about the product by the teaser. But, besides the 8GB RAM, the highlight of the device is said to be the Snapdragon 821, which is rebranded renamed Snapdragon 823. GizChina says that even though Snapdragon 820 is compatible with high RAM units the upcoming smart phone from LeEco will be powered by a Snapdragon 821 / 823 processor. As far as the camera is concerned it will sport a whopping 25MP sensor. The device will also come with a fingerprint scanner on the back. It is believed that it will be available for 3000 Yuan which is approximately INR 30,000.
Not too long ago the Le Max 2 was recently launched in India for INR 22,999 featuring a 5.7-inch QHD display. This smart phone came with 4GB / 6GB RAM, and had inbuilt storage capacity of 64 GB, 21MP rear snapper, 8MP secondary camera, Snapdragon 820 and CDLA technology.
