We reported a couple of days back that Lenovo is planning to launch its Phab 2 Plus Phablet in India. The phone has been launched officially now and has been priced at INR 14,999, or $225 and will be sold exclusively through Amazon India.
The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus has a 6.4-inch, full HD 1080x1920px screen with 2.5D curved glass. The battery is rated at 4050mAh and the phone also gets a dual camera setup. There’s a fingerprint scanner below the camera sensor duo. The sensor on the camera is a 13-megapixel unit with dual-LED Flash, PDAF, f.2.0 aperture and laser auto focus with 1.34-micron pixels. Front shooter is an 8-megapixel unit with f/2.2 aperture and 1.4-micron pixels.
1.3GHz MediaTek MT8783 octa-core processor with Mali T720 GPU along with 3GB of RAM delivers reasonably good processing power. Internal storage is 32GB, expandable to 128GB through an external Micro SD card. The phone gets hybrid dual-SIM capability and weighs 218 gm. As for connectivity, the phone gets 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac and Bluetooth 4.0.
The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Lenovo’s Vibe UI skin on top.
