After their A6000 smart phones, Lenovo has today launched their new smart phone called Vibe K5. This new smart phone of Lenovo comes after a variety of premium smart phones launched by the company. Within a month we find that Lenovo has launched many smart phones which includes Zuk Z1, Moto G4 Plus, Moto Z and Moto Z Force.
In comparison with the other smart phones launched by the company we find that the Vibe K5 is a smart phone that is budget offering. It does not mean that because it is cheaper than the earlier models it does not have decent hardware. The most attractive feature of this smart phone is its price tag, which being cheap also comes with a 64 bit octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 processor. Lenovo’s Vibe K5 costs just INR 6,999, just like its earlier phone that is A6000, while we find that other smart phones that sport Snapdragon 415 are available for INR 10,000.
The new smart phone Vibe K5 has 2GB DDR3 RAM, and 16 GB of internal storage memory, which can be expanded up to 32 GB with the help of microSD card. The phone comes with a 5 inch IPS display with the screen having a resolution of 720 X 1280 pixels and has 450nits brightness. It comes with a 13 megapixel primary camera with LED flash and sports a 5 megapixel camera on the back. Built with aviation grade aluminium alloy it weighs just 142 grams and is just 7.99 mm thick. It runs Vibe UI based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It comes with a 2,750mAh battery that will last for 15 days as claimed by the company. On 2G network the battery delivers 32 hours of call time, 12 hours of music playback, and 6.2 hours of video playback. The phone can be used with ANTVR headset for virtual reality experience as Vibe K5 supports Lenovo’s TheatreMax Technology.
