LG has sent out invites for a launch event on February 22nd, where it will in all probability reveal its 2017 K-Series smartphone lineup for India. IT Minister, Ravi Shankar Prasad will be seen attending the event as a Chief Guest. Expected to launch at the event are the LG K3, K4, K8 and K10 mid-range phones, which were refreshed with updated features in January this year.
LG K3
The LG K3 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. It features a 4.5-inch FWVGA display and is powered by a 1.1 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor along with 1GB RAM, 8GB ROM and an Adreno 304 GPU. It sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel front facing camera. Powering the device is a 2,100mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b, g, n), Bluetooth 4.1 and USB 2.0 Type B.
LG K4
The LG K4 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box too. It features a 5.0-inch FWVGA display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM. Optics include 5-megapixel rear and front cameras with rear LED flash. The device is powered by a 2,500mAh battery and connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b, g, n), Bluetooth 4.1 and USB 2.0 Type B.
LG K8
The LG K8 runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. It features a 5-inch HD display and is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor with Adreno 308 GPU, 1.5Gb RAM and 16GB ROM. Optics include 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras. Powering the device is a 2,500mAh battery and connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b, g, n), Bluetooth 4.2, USB 2.0 Type B and NFC. The phone will be available in silver, titan, dark blue and gold.
LG K10
The K10 runs Android 7.0 out-of-the-box and features a 5.3-inch HD display with 2.5D Glass on top. TheUSP of this phone is its 5-megapixel front camera which comes with 120-degree wide-angle lens. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750 processor with Mali T860 GPU, 2GB RAM and 16/32 GB ROM. Optics include a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, fingerprint sensor and 2,800mAh removable battery. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b, g, n), Bluetooth 4.2, USB 2.0 Type B and NFC. The smartphone will be available in shades of black, titan and gold.
