LG G6 is one of the smartphones we are eagerly waiting to be unveiled at the upcoming 2017 Mobile World Congress. LG has been taking their smartphones game very seriously and it is evident from the G5 and the LG V20. These phones are loaded with a lot of ‘world’s firsts’ elements. They were loaded with tech such as dual camera, dual screen, body construction made up of military grade materials, latest software, and much more. And with the upcoming LG G6 the story will be no different.
LG is trying to leave no stone unturned in order to make the G6 a smash hit. After the little success of the V20 and the G5, a lot rides on the shoulders of the G6. So, ahead of its unveil at the Barcelona event, LG is dropping teaser images regularly to keep us excited and guessing about what all is on offer. Starting off, the first of the lot was the ‘Big screen that fits’ image that suggested that the G6 is going to be fitted with a big screen but that’s not the best part. The best part is that the G6 will be designed with minimalistic or no bezels that will allow a huge phablet sized screen to fit in a smartphone form factor.
There another that conveys that the battery capacity of the G6 will be more than 3,200 mAh, that means it will be a lot more than that of the G5. The latest one is about reliability – it seems, LG will give the G6 a similar treatment that the V20 received. A body crafted out of military grade materials making it water proof, dust proof and shock proof! A huge thumbs up to this if it happens!!
Speaking of the specifications, it is believed that the LG G6 will likely get Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 MSM8996AC chipset with Adreno 560 GPU under its hood. Snapdragon 835 was rumoured earlier but that seems highly unlikely. 6 GB or 8GB RAM is expected to be fitted in. The phone is expected to get a new cooling system to help the LG G6 maintain its thermal levels.
