If the rumoured specifications are correct, Meizu is not using the Samsung-made processor for the first time. Pro 5, the company’s flagship smart phone also features the Samsung Exynos 7420 octa-core processor which is a quad-core 2.1GHz Cortex-A57 + quad-core 1.5GHz Cortex-A53 processor. It is powered by a Mali T760 MP8 GPU under the hood. Meizu last month teamed up with Canonical and launched its second Ubuntu smart phone – the Meizu Pro 5 Ubuntu Edition. This smart phone is similar to the Meizu Pro 5 smart phone that was launched in September last year. The only difference is that Pro 5 Ubuntu Edition runs on Ubuntu OS instead of Android 5.1 Lollipop.
