It appears that Micromax is on a launching spree, as now, in India, the company has introduced its new Canvas Selfie 4 smart phone. The company has announced that the Micromax Canvas Selfie 4 will be on sale from the end of this month in all retail stores. This week, the company also unveiled the Micromax Bolt Selfie just for INR 4,999.
The most important feature of the Micromax Canvas Selfie 4 is its 8-megapixel primary and secondary cameras. This Canvas Selfie runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. Another feature of this camera is its rear ‘Tap Sensor’ which the company claims can click images on tapping. The sensor can also be used to take calls. The new Micromax Canvas Selfie 4 comes with a a 5-inch HD display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor; 1GB of RAM; 8GB of storage which can be expanded up to 32GB with the help of microSD card; 3G support, and 2500mAh battery.
Regarding the launch, the chief marketing officer, Shubejit Sen said selfies are now the most popular type of photos snapped on a smartphone, with over a million selfies taken per day and 48 percent of that are shared on Facebook alone. With smartphones becoming the first device to capture precious moments with friends and family, a top class camera becomes a must have feature while buying a phone.
