Micromax exhibits a slew of new products

Micromax held an event on Wednesday in New Delhi where they introduced a total of 19 products out of which 15 are smart phones. The rest includes a smart watch, new televisions and new tablets. The company has also unveiled a new brand identity by virtue of a new logo and brand philosophy ‘Nuts: Guts: Glory’. The company will start new manufacturing units in Telangana, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan by 2017. The company has invested in three new manufacturing units in India to beef up domestic production and reduce dependence on imports. They also launched Micromax Bolt Supreme, Bolt Supreme 2, Bolt Q381, Canvas Spark 2+, Canvas Evok, Canvas Mega 2 and Canvas Unite 4.

The company has introduced two mobiles with prices of INR 13,999, approximately US $ 210, for the model of Canvas 6 and Canvas 6 pro. The company has featured the mobile in an all metal uni-body design and packs in a 5.5-inch Full HD display. Inside there is 64-bit MediaTek MT6795m SoC, Tru Octa-core 2.0 GHz chipset coupled with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of inbuilt memory.  The mobile back camera has 13 MP, while an 8 MP camera is available on the front for the selfie lovers. The device is powered by a 3000 mAh battery and a fingerprint scanner on the back completes the package.

The Canvas 6 Pro has a 5.5-inch Full HD display, the same 64-bit MediaTek MT6795m, Tru Octa-core 2.0 GHz SoC coupled with 4 GB RAM and 16 GB of inbuilt memory. There is a 13 MP primary camera on the back and 5 MP front camera.
