Micromax unveiled the new Canvas Amaze 2 smart phone in India on Wednesday. the handset is priced at INR 7,499, and will be available online exclusively via Flipkart. The device will be available for buyers starting from Thursday. The new Micromax Canvas Amaze 2 comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display with 720 x 1280 pixels support. It features a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection from scratches. The device is powered by a 1.4 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor which is clubbed with 2 GB of RAM. The handset also comes with a 16 GB of inbuilt storage and supports expandable storage via microSD card up to 64 GB.

Other features of the new smart phone from Micromax include Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. It comes with a dual SIM support and the device is backed by a 2500 mAh battery. The smart phone features a 13-megapixel primary camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel secondary camera. On the connectivity front, the handset supports 4G LTE, 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB connectivity options.
