These days Microsoft has been quite busy focusing on its core services and its lack of focus on its smart phone line up is clearly seen. There has been no recent development which has been worthy of international breaking news as far as its smart phone sector is considered. The company has recently made available the budget range Lumia 650 Dual in USA and Canada, which was its most recent activity related to its smart phone front. However, the company has followed it up by making it quickly available in the Indian market. A listing on Amazon India confirms the same. This could well be the beginning of a renewed focus on the smart phone store of the company.

Amazon has listed the new Microsoft Lumia 650 Dual at a price tag of INR 16,599 for its white colored model. The black colored variant has been priced at INR 16,700. It is interesting to note that both the colored options of the device have the same internal memory of 16 GB. The difference in price is purely on the basis of colour as the company expects a comparatively lesser demand for its white coloured smart phone. So, it has been priced at a marginally lower price to make it more attractive to its buyers.
There have been quite a few speculations regarding the delay in launching the product for the Indian market. But things seem to come to rest with this listing. Frankly speaking, the price is a tad too high for the Indian consumers, especially looking at the specifications. The phone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor with just 1 GB of RAM. It does pack in a 5 inch OLED display supporting upto 720p display, which is the only good thing. The Primary camera is an 8 MP device with an LED flash. The device is expected to start shipping from April 30.
