Windows Central reports that Microsoft is working on its Surface Phone, which is expected to be launched by the year 2017. According to them there will not be just one variant but three. The three variants will be targeting three various user groups. The first will be targeting the normal day to day users whereas the second will be targeting business users and the third will be targeting enthusiasts who usually have a heavy usage of mobile. However there is no detailed specification of any of the three Surface phones variants. The price has not been decided but pricing will certainly be addressing the higher end segment considering Surface Pro and Surface Book products have been traditionally targeted at the high end segment.
There is not much excitement for the Microsoft’s Lumia 950 and Microsoft’s Lumia 950XL line of phones. Microsoft has also released Lumia 360 recently in the Indian market. The latest windows OS for mobiles is still under development, however, two major updates for the same is expected in the near future. The updates are ‘Redstone 1’ and ‘Redstone 2’. Redstone 1 has got the name ‘Anniversary Update’ and 2 is scheduled for spring 2017. The updates are expected to bring a lot of polish to the windows 10 OS.
