In its New Delhi event on Tuesday, 17 May Motorola launched its fourth generation Moto G smart phone in two variants, namely the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus. As yet MotoG4 has not revealed their availability details or the estimated cost in India. On the other hand Moto G4 Plus is priced at INR 13,499for 3GB RAM haing 32 GB storage capacity. This new mobile will be available in black and white colour only on Amazon from Wednesday that is 18 May.

It is estimated that the Motorola Moto G4 will declare their price a few days before launch. Both the smart phones are identical in terms of specifications with slight differences. The device which comes with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow is a dual SIM phone. This smart phone has a finger print sensor on the home button. It is the first Motorola device that offers a biometric authentication system. It features a 5.5-inch full-HD with 1080×1920 pixel display having not only a pixel density of 401ppi but also a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. This comes with 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 (MSM8952) SoC along with an Adreno 405 GPU and the facility of choosing either 2GB or 3GB of RAM.
The Moto G4 Plus processes a 16-megapixel rear camera having f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus (PDAF), and laser autofocus, besides a dual-LED colour-balancing flash. It comes with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera having 84-degree wide field of view and f/2.2. This device will be available with two inbuilt storage options of 16GB and 32GB which are expandable with the help of microSD card up to 128GB.
This smart phone has 4G LTE capability, Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Micro-USB, 3.5mm audio jack, and GPS/ A-GPS. This smart phone weighs only 155 grams, and measures 153×76.6×9.8mm, with its thinnest point being 7.9mm thick. It comes with a 3000mAh battery which according to experts can deliver up to 24 hours of mixed usage battery life.
