Motorola, a brand under Lenovo, appears firmly set to launch its Moto G4 smart phone on Tuesday, May 17. During the last few weeks, different iterations of the smart phone have made its appearance in several leaked and live images as well as on benchmarking websites. With just two days left for the official launch, the press releases are bound to be ready. Now those very press images of the device has allegedly appeared online. The image was posted by smart phone tipster @evleaks shows the same design as was speculated for Moto G4 Plus smart phone, but without the much anticipated square fingerprint sensor below the display. It might quite be possible that the finger print sensor has been moved to the back, as was expected very initially.

Another interesting change in design that the image shows is that the Moto G4 sports just one speaker grille at the top unlike the Moto G3 and G2. This leaves the bezels below the display completely clean. News is that the upcoming Moto G4 handset by Motorola has passed the FCC certification. Those who have had access to the documents say, that the models in the certification documents carry the model numbers XT1622 and XT1642. The documents, however, don’t reveal anything more about the handset.

Earlier, Moto G4’s alleged specifications appeared on Geekbench website. It can be seen here. The website lists Moto G4 to be running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The handset also sports an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor. Since the processor supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 technology, the experts opine that the smart phone is also expected to feature the same. The listing reveals the device as sporting 3 GB RAM coupled with Adreno 405 GPU. We shall keep you updated about the device as and when we receive more dope on the same.
