Motorola is Expected to Rename its flagship Moto X series to Moto Z Play And Moto Z Style

It is expected that Motorola will be unveiling  its new flagship smart phones the Moto Z Play and Moto Z Style, soon in the near future. A press image of an event conducted on June 9 in San Francisco, reveals images of the Moto Z. We are all aware that Motorola is no longer a part of Google but is owned by Lenovo. There is a rumor in the market that the company will rename its flagship Moto X series to Moto Z.  This is said so because Motorola recently filed a trademark on the Moto Z name. Also their recent reports claim that the company will launch two new smart phones, namely the Moto Z Play and Moto Z Style.

Last December, an image which is believed to be of the Moto X 2016 had leaked. This image showed a smart phone with a redesigned metal case, large primary camera, and the company’s logo inscribed on its rear. In the beginning of May a reliable source confirmed that the leaked images were legit. Now, another leaked image from hellomotoHK of probably a press invite of an event which is scheduled on June 9 in San Francisco shows a teaser for a smart phone. These images, exactly match the previously leaked Pictures. We find the date of the event coincides with Lenovo’s scheduled Lenovo Tech World 2016.

Motorola’s new smart phones, Moto Z Style and Moto Z Play are expected to sport a 5.5-inch  that is 2,560 x 1,440 Quad HD displays, powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor while the Moto Z Play is powered by a Snapdragon 625 chip.The Moto Z Play will come with a 16-megapixel primary camera, while the Moto Z Style will supposedly sport a 13-megapixel primary camera. Both the smart phones are expected to include autofocus and optical image stabilization.
