Motorola releases Moto X Force ‘Shatterproof’ Phone’s teaser

Motorola has released a new teaser for Moto X Force. The phone is the much-anticipated ‘shatterproof’ phone to be launched in India. The teaser video was posted on Twitter. There were series of tweets by Motorola India which stated, “Moto X Force coming soon”. It also asked the users whether they were amongst 40% of people who fear dropping their phones. The video shows many high-end smartphones like Samsung Galaxy S6, iPhone 6, iPhone  and Xperia Z5 being dropped and their screen breaking.

No details have as yet been revealed by the Lenovo-owned company regarding the launch of the Moto X Force. But a news is soon expected from the company’s end. Moto X Force is an international variant of the Droid Turbo 2 for Verizon Wireless. The feature that stands out in case of Moto X Force is its ‘ShatterShield’ display. It has a display made of an aluminium rigid core with flexible Amoled screen, dual-layer touchscreen panels. The company claims that it won’t break even when dropped on a slab of concrete. The phone also has water-repellent nano-coating.

The phone has a 5.4-inch QHD display that has a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core SoC that is clocked at 2GHz. The phone has a 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM. It offers 32 GB and and 64GB inbuilt storage options with an expandable memory up to 2TB via a microSD card. The phone packs a 3760mAh battery which supports Quick Charging feature. The phone sports a 21-megapixel shooter at the back with an f/2.0 aperture and dual-LED flash. It also features a 5-megapixel front camera with flash with an f/2.0 aperture.

The phone runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS. It features Wi-Fi 802.11ac, single-SIM with 4G LTE and other connectivity options. The pricing is decided to be INR 49,900 for 32GB and INR 53,400 for the 64GB variant.
