In India, Airtel has joined hands with Microsoft to create a cloud portfolio by launching Connexion. Bharti Airtel said their partnership is for the Microsoft Azure Express Route. They are trying to ensure that users will now have a much more secure, and scalable connection between enterprises. They also provide private connection with cloud service providers and data center partners. The Director and CEO of Global Business, Bharti Airtel said that in order to create a new platform for service providers and also for those businesses who wanted to make their IT infrastructure much agiler and flexible, Connexion was created. It guaranteed helping customers smoothly and connecting them securely to the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. They intend not only improving their performance but also reducing their network cost.
Airtel believes that Connexion is one of the best way for businesses to maximize network performance over the cloud platform. Along with Azure Express Route, businesses will now be able to not only create private but also secure connections between their infrastructure and Azure data centers. Due to Azure Express Route connection they will not need public internet. They offer more reliability, greater speeds, lower latencies and much more security than other internet connections available in the market.
