The new Xiaomi Mi Max is a dual-SIM smart phone. It has a microSD slot of 128 GB. It has a 6.44-inch display. Jun Lei, who is the CEO of Xiaomi, has shown many images of Mi Max smart phone. These images were posted a day before it was to be officially launched in Beijing, China. These pictures were posted by him on his Weibo account. The pictures showed Mi Max being used in different scenarios.
Among the numerous pictures posted by Lei of Mi Max, one picture displays a glimpse of the side profile which is in gold colour. The Mi Max appears very sleek. A pink version of Mi Max may also be launched is assumed, based on the new set of photos. Lei’s posts have also revealed that the 6.44-inch Mi Max will have dual SIM. This hybrid design SIM will also have microSD slot of 128 GB.
China’s certification authority, TENAA, has also displayed Mi Max. TENAA disclosed its pictures and specifications. Earlier on inside a jeans pocket Xiaomi had shown a quick look of Mi Max on its Weibo page. From the pictures that we can see we find Mi Max has a metal unibody with 3D Glass design quiet similar to Mi 5. It shows the finger print scanner in the centre and the camera and flash in the top left corner at the back. The pictures also reveal that Mi Max has a 16 megapixel primary camera and a 5 megapixel front camera. It also has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor. It is believed that Xiaomi will launch its phablet in two variants – 2 GB RAM + 16 GB ROM and 3 GB RAM + 32 GB ROM. It will have a huge 4000 mAh battery.
