The new OnePlus X Champagne will be available on sale in India from Tuesday midnight. It can be purchased via Amazon at a price of INR 16,999 or US $ 256 by the user of Regular Onyx variant OnePlus X invite. Earlier this month, a champagne edition was exclusively made available in China market. The champagne edition has similar specifications as that of other two versions of OnePlus X- Ceramic and Onyx.
OnePlus X has a 5-inch full-HD screen with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. The phone is powered with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 quad-core SoC which is clocked at 2.3GHz. The phone is supported by a 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM with internal memory of 16GB. The memory is expandable up to 128GB with the use of microSD. The phone features two camera one at the back which is of 13MP and a camera at the front of 8MP. The phone also has a 2525mAh non-removable battery that gives the phone a better battery life as compared to other phones.
The device is a dual-SIM smartphone which features Wi-Fi, 4G LTE and all other standard connectivity features. It also features a hardware Alert Slider as well as capacitive keys as present in OnePlus 2. The phone is made up of metal body and sports dual speaker grilles at the bottom panel. As per the announcement made by OnePlus, OnePlus X will be available on every Tuesdays without any invites. But for Indian customers, a country-specific invite is required as they are not eligible for the open sale on every Tuesdays.
The Onyx variant of the phone was launched in the month of October in India. India still has to see the availability of India-specific invites in order to buy the limited edition of Ceramic variant. A limited number of units of ceramic variant is produced which generally totals to 10,000 units.
