BlackBerry’s slider smartphone that is touted to be the Canadian company’s first phone not running its own BlackBerry OS 10 but on Google’s Android has leaked. The picture of the phone, allegedly called the Venice, is seen with an onscreen keyboard that looks very much like the keyboard on many Android phones.
As many have guessed before, the Venice will be a slider, with the physical keyboard tucked underneath the display, when not in use. Imagine though, you’re not writing a lengthy business email, but only need to jot down a quick note. Well, there will be an onscreen keyboard for those occasions, or at least that’s what this new leaked image suggests.
Regular Twitter phone tipster Evan Blass, renowned for his accurate leaks, says the T-Mobile will be selling the Venice. Although Blass does not mention anything about when we can expect the device to come to market, rumors earlier pointed to a November release. This follows earlier reports that the phone will be an exclusive device sold through AT&T.
BlackBerry Venice slated for T-Mobile lineup, as well.

BlackBerry is expected to unveil the Venice in Q4. It’s rumoured specs include a 5.4-inch 2560×1440 pixel display, 18MP OIS camera, 5MP front-facing camera, 1.8 GHz Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB RAM, and running Android Lollipop.
Of course, as with any leak, there’s no solid proof that the photo is genuine, so we’d advise taking it with the customary dose of skepticism.
