A Matte Black variant of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 will go on sale today at 12 noon through Flipkart and Mi.com. The Gold and Dark grey colour variants will also be up for grab in today’s sale. When the phone went on sale for the first time in India on January 23rd, it was sold out within 10 minutes. Over 250,000 units were bought within that time.
Sale for this Matte Black variant will start at 12 Pm today, so you’ll have to be quick in order to be able to grab one. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has been available until now in three variants – 2GB RAM/32GB storage at Rs. 9,999, 3GB RAM/32GB storage at Rs. 10,999, and 4GB RAM/64GB storage at Rs. 12,999. Specifications wise, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box with Xiaomi’s MiUI8 on top.
It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC, clocked at 2.0 GHz. Bearing a fingerprint scanner on the rear panel, the phone features a 5.5-inch, full-HD (1080×1920 pixels), 2.5D curved glass display with a pixel density of 401ppi. The Note 4 features a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, an f/2.0 aperture and dual-tone LED flash. The 5-megapixel front camera sports an 85-degree wide angle lens. Storage can be expanded till 128 GB with the help of a microSD card.
