OnePlus 3 Soft Gold Colour Variant to Launch in the Second Half of July

This week in India, the OnePlus 3 was launched for INR 27,999. At the launch, OnePlus had specified that at a later date the Soft Gold color variant would be made available in the market. Currently, only the Graphite color variant is available in the market for sale. Now Carl Pei who is the OnePlus Co-Founder has confirmed that the Soft Gold color variant will be available sometime in the latter half of July. Though Pei refrained from giving a specific date, by giving a time-frame he succeeded in satisfying the curiosity a little. When Pei was asked details of the color variant by a tweeter user he replied that it would hit the markets sometime in the latter part of July.

Currently those who are interested in buying the OnePlus 3 Graphite variant can purchase the same from Amazon India even without the invite system. Officially onePlus has not only scrapped the invite system, but and has also announced that for purchasing any OnePlus smart phone in future the buyer will not need an invite system. Co-founder Pete Lau also announced recently that The Company will focus on only one true flagship, and will not release a follow-up model of the OnePlus X was announced by Pete Lau a co-founder.

Soon after the launch of the smart phone, the source kernel code of the OnePlus 3 was released by OnePlus. For those who are interested they can download the code from Github. This smart phone is powered by Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based OxygenOS. It comes with dual-SIM. It sports a 5.5 inch display, a Snapdragon 820 SoC, 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM. It has 64GB of inbuilt storage capacity. It sports a 16 megapixel primary camera, and an 8 megapixel secondary camera. Also the OnePlus 3 smart phones features a 3000 mAh non removable battery with Dash Charge, and at the front it has a fingerprint sensor.
