Oppo has added a new member to its A-series family for the China market. Dubbed as the Oppo A57, the smart phone will be available in the market for RMB 1,599 that roughly translates to INR 16,999. As of now, there is no official confirmation that the Oppo A57 will be available in India or anywhere else for that matter. The phone will be up for grabs in China from 12 December 2016 and will be available in two colour options – Gold and Rose Gold.
The Oppo A57 comes with a 5.2inch IPS a-SI HD display with a pixel density of 282. The screen is fitted on a metallic unibody and the whole construction measures 149.1mm in length, 72.9mm in width and 7.65mm thick. The A57 tips the weighing scale at 147gms.
The A57 is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 MSM8940 processor that is clocked at 1.4GHz. This 64Bit processor is coupled with Adreno 505 GPU. The phone makes do with 3GB of RAM and an internal storage of 32 GB. The storage capacity can he expanded to up to 128 GB via microSD card. The phone also benefits from a Fingerprint sensor, proximity sensor and an accelerometer.
On the front is a 16MP camera for selfie lovers while the rear gets a 13MP and both these units have an aperture value of f/2.0 and f/2.2 respectively. The rear camera uses Phase Detection AutoFocus and a LED Flash to capture neat photographs. All of the above hardware is held up by a 2900mAh battery.
