With the launch of 4G-enabled Eluga A2 smart phone Panasonic has added another budget smart phone to its portfolio. This smart phone packs in a large 4,000mAh battery and will sell at INR 9,490 through offline stores in the country. Panasonic Eluga A2 will be available in metallic Gold and metallic Silver colours. This new 4G-enabled Eluga A2 smart phone comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display and is equipped with 3 GB of RAM. ELUGA A2 comes with a 1GHz Quad-core processor which runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Panasonic FitHome UI. Though there is no mention of the processor that powers up the device, but it is believed that Panasonic is using a MediaTek processor.

When we played around with the UI for a while we found it to be a bit clumsy, but this small draw back can be easily over looked as Panasonic has tried to give the user interface such a new look that  we have never seen earlier on any such kind of devices. Now where imaging is concerned, the new Eluga A2 smart phone not only comes with an 8MP primary camera with LED flash but also a 5MP front shooter for capturing selfies. Besides all these features the company is also offering a protective screen guard as a free accessory. Free accessory does not mean that it is cheap, for the company claims that it is priced at INR 399. However it is believed that Panasonic 4G-enabled Eluga A2 smart phone will be facing tough competition from Chinese smart phone makers as they are offering better value for money deal.
