Panasonic’s Eluga Turbo octa-core smartphone launched at Rs 10,999

Panasonic Corporation is a Japanese multinational electronics corporation that was earlier known as Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. Ltd. It has its headquarter in Japan and was founded in the year 1918. It is one of the largest Japanese electronics producers apart from Toshiba, Sony, Hitachi etc. It became the world’s fourth largest Television manufacturer in 2012. With the launch of Eluga Turbo, Panasonic has expanded its smart phone product portfolio. Panasonic has priced its new 4G smartphone at INR 10,999 which is equivalent to US $ 163. The phone will be exclusively available via a flash sale model on Snapdeal. It will be available in blue colour variant.

The phone has a 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280×710 pixels. Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection protects the display and a coating of Asahi Dragontrail glass at the back is also provided for protection. The phone is a dual SIM phone and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. The phone is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core processor. It has 3GB of RAM with an internal memory of 32GB that can be expanded with the help of microSD card. The phone sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP camera at the front for clicking selfies. The phone packs a 2,350 mAh battery. The phone also features 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio. On the connectivity front, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+ and Bluetooth 4.0 is offered by the smart phone.

Panasonic recently had also launched Viera TH-49CS580D LED TV in India with a pricing of INR 84,900. The new television is equipped with an improved Hexa Chroma Drive technology that uses 6 primary colours instead of 3 for a sharper picture quality. It also enables user to connect the TV with any Bluetooth speakers for a wireless musical experience.
