Micromax’s new smart phone Yu Yunicorn will be available for only INR 12,999. This smart phone will be available in mainly two colors namely Rush Silver and Graphite, besides these colors the company has very few limited edition version of Rush Gold color. This new handset runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop, named by the company as the Android on Steroids. It features the upgraded version of the service aggregator platform introduced last year that is Around Yu 2.0. Compared to the old version we find that the company’s new soft ware is superior in the sense that it comes with a monochrome mode for checking extending the battery life and it has a certiical App drawer. Not only this, very soon this new hand set will have the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow upgrade.
Regarding specifications this new smart phone Yu Yunicorn comes with a 5.5 inch resolution having 1080 x 1920 pixels Full HD IPS display. This hand set is powered by an octa core MediaTeK Helio P10 processor along with 4GB of RAM. It comes with 32 GB of internal storage which when needed can be expanded with the help of a micro-SD card. The smart phones comes with a 13MP primary camera along with a LED flash and for selfies they provide a 5MP front snapper. This device can be connected with the help of 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. Also in this device we have a fingerprint sensor and for better audio experience the device sports a Dolby Audio support. This smart phone is powered by a 4,000 mAh battery.
