A period film, set during World War II, Vishal Bharadwaj’s Rangoon is slated for release on February 24th 2017. A much talked about and anticipated movie, going by the brilliance of the Director’s previous work, Rangoon’s trailer puts it right up there in the must watch Bollywood movies list for 2017.
Starring actors Shahid Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut, the movie is set in the British Era. A period when India was on the brink of Independence. A few scenes in the trailer has captured the essence and grandeur of Bombay of those times quite beautifully, before the plot takes a train to the Far East and begins to concentrate on its USP of Love, War and Deceit.
Since it is a Vishal Bharadwaj movie, expect the ugly side of human emotions to take fore and dance on the screen while you look out for that almost topless scene between Shahid and Kangana by a river bank.
