Reliance is expanding its LYF smartphone lineup at a fast pace. To that effect, the company has launched its Lyf Wind 7i smartphone with VoLTE support for INR 4,999. It’s notable that despite being a new player in the market, the Reliance Lyf smartphone line is growing at a blistering pace, and is amongst the top 5-6 players in the Indian smartphone market.
The Lyf Wind 7i follows the Wind 7 smartphone, though it’s positioned a notch lower than its forebear. The Wind 7i has dual SIM capability with a 5-inch 720×1280 pixel HD display and an IPS screen. The 7i is gets a 1.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 210 SoC along with 1 GB of RAM. In built storage is pegged at 8GB and is expandable to 128GB via an external Micro SD card.
Back camera is a 16 megapixel unit with an LED flash, while the front shooter is a 5 megapixel setup. The camera on the Lyf 7i comes with multiple modes like HDR, Macro, beauty along with red-eye reduction and smile detection.
Connectivity options include 4G with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and Micro-USB 2.0. Sensors on the Wind 7 i include accelerometer and proximity sensor. Box Contents include handset, removable battery, earphone, charger adaptor, a micro USB cable and user manual.
The Lyf Wind 7i dimensions are 143.5 x 72 x 8.7 mm with a weight of 156 grams. battery size is a relatively small 2250mAh but a small processor means that the the phone offers up to 9 hours of talk time and up to 180 hours of standby time on a 4G network.
