Reliance Jio gets Special Award from Society for Human Resource Management of India (SHRM) for HR Impact in People Practices

The Society for Human Resource Management of India (SHRM) has given their Special Award for HR Impact in People Practices to Reliance Jio. SHRM India is a part of the world’s largest professional, not-for-profit Human Resource association. It has over 285,000 members in 165 countries. Its mission is to support the HR professional and advance the HR profession through globally recognised certifications, collaborative communities, comprehensive resources, research, professional development opportunities, academic alliances and advisory services.

Due to Reliance Jio’s gigantic feat of creating and launching Jio services the recognition has been awarded to them. The company has introduced their services across 18,000 cities and towns and more than 200,000 villages through a network of 1,215 offices and a formidable team of over 60,000 employees across India.

As said by the folks at SHRM, As one of India’s youngest start-ups, the average age at Reliance Jio is 30 years, making Reliance Jio an organisation of the young, by the young, and for the young.
