Reliance Jio Website Starts Taking Network Trial Registrations

Considering the fact that the company has started taking registrations from interested people for network trials it seems that Reliance will soon be launching their Reliance Jio’s 4G services. We find that the company’s official site Jio.com is now active and is busy taking registrations. On the official website we can see Apps from Reliance Jio, namely MyJio, JioChat, JioPlay, JioOnDemand, JioBeats, JioMags, JioXpressNews, JioDrive, JioJoin, JioMoney, and JioSecurity. All these apps can now be easily downloaded with the help of Google Play and App Store.

Under JioChat category we have the JioChat Messenger app which is an instant messaging app while the JioSecurity app gives mobile security and is part of Jio Security. Similarly TV Channels Programs that show content from TV comes under the category JioPlay, and  Jio XpressNews is a news and magazine aggregation app. We also have the JioMoney app which is actually the company’s own wallet app as it allows users not only to recharge  but also do any other payment related functions. Like video chat app Reliance’s JioJoin app is the company’s Skype which allows non-VoLTE smart phones to make not only HD voice but also video calls. Currently only allows users with Jio accounts are allowed to log-in by the website.

Last month, they had an employee referral program  where they allowed Reliance employees to invite their friends and families to join them. In the invite only model, 10GB free voice and data for three months was given by the employee referral program. In the beginning of this year, Mukesh Ambani had announced that in the second half of 2016 Reliance Jio would be ready to commercially launch its 4G telecom services.  Up till now nearly 120,000 employees, their families and business partners enjoy Reliance Jio’s 4G services.
