In India, Reliance has launched LYF Earth 2 smart phone. This smart phone which is 4G VoLTE enabled is available for INR 20,999 in four color variants namely black, white, green and gold color. It sports a 5 inch display and comes with a pixel density of 445PPi. It comes with 2.5D glass in the front. The LYF Earth 2 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, along with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM. It comes with a 2500 mAh battery.

The new Reliance smart phone has a 13MP secondary and primary camera with flash and PDAF. The primary camera comes with laser auto focus and ProMode. The user is allowed to switch between the selfie camera mode and the primary camera mode using the voice command feature in the smart phone. Using the voice command feature to click pictures users can say smile or selfie or capture.

The 4G enabled smart phone has three security features that is the conventional pattern/PIN, retina unlock, and fast fingerprint sensor. Sunil Dutt, the President of Devices, Reliance Retail said that LYF Smart phone+ is a consumer obsessed brand and through Earth 2 we present the most advanced features in smart phones that deliver a differentiated digital experience to our consumers and puts the controls of smart devices in the hands of the consumers. The smart phone comes with a fingerprint sensor, which can be used to jumpstart 3 applications. The smart sense+ technology in LYF Earth 2 enables user to personalize and the phone with 19 gestures and shortcuts.
