In India Wind 1 and Water 7 are the two new smart phones launched by Reliance Retail’s Lyf brand. On the company’s site we find both the smart phones listed, giving details of their cost. It states that the Lyf Wind 1 is available for INR 6,899 while the Lyf Water 7 is available for INR 12,999. It is expected that very soon these smart phones will be available with the help of offline stores like Reliance Digital and Digital Xpress.
Just like the earlier Lyf branded smart phones, In India we find that both the smart phones that is the Lyf Wind 1 and Water 7 smart phones support 4G LTE bands, FDD LTE Band 3 having 1800MHz and TDD LTE Band 40 having 2300MHz. These smart phones also come with VoLTE that is voice over LTE with HD voice call compatibility. The Lyf Wind 1 is a dual SIM phone having Micro-SIM + Micro-SIM. It features IPS LCD display with Asahi Dragontrail Glass and 294ppi pixel density. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. This smart phone comes with 4G on one SIM at a time. It is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor along with 1GB of RAM. It features an 8 megapixel autofocus primary camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel fixed-focus front camera. The storage capacity can be expanded up to 64 GB with the help of microSD card.
The Lyf Water 7 is also a dual-SIM phone with Nano-SIM + Nano-SIM. It sports a 5.5 inch full-HD IPS LCD display with a pixel density of 400ppi and it runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. This smart phone comes with a finger print scanner at the back. It comes with 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm SnapdragonTM 615 processor along with 2GB of RAM. It features 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded up to 128 GB with the help of a microSD card.
