Rumour Mill: Android powered flagship Nokia to be powered by a Snapdragon 835 SoC, 6GB Ram and a Zeiss Lens!

Rumor has it that Nokia could reveal a flagship phone along with the mid-range D1C. According to a latest leak, this android based device could be powered by a Snapdragon 835 chipset, backed by 6 gigs of Ram and clicking duties could be handed over to a Carl Zeiss sourced 23 MP lens.

That’s what the D1C could look like

Although the details are rather unsubstantial, the phone is expected to run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and could boast of a waterproof, premium looking metal unibody. The leaked image looks like a prototype of the upcoming flagship, with Nokia branding on the rear panel, and could be called the P1. Although don’t take our word for it as there isn’t a way to verify what we see is what we think it is.

HMD Global, the Finn company which now holds the rights to market and sell Nokia branded phones has recently confirmed that the first Android powered Nokia phone will show itself to the world at the MWC 2017, which will be held in February in Barcelona. Exciting times ahead then, for people who still carry fond memories of the 3310. Stay tuned for further updates.
