Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro with 6GB RAM & 6-inch display launched in India: Price, specifications and details

After hitting the Chinese market in October last year, the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro has finally been launched in India. It can be pre-booked starting January 27th at select Samsung Retail outlets and online platforms. While regular availability will begin in the second half of February, customers who pre-book will qualify for a one-time screen replacement, within a period of 12 months. To be available in shades of Black and Gold, the C9 Pro has been priced at Rs. 36,900.

Measuring 162.9 x 80.7 x 6.9mm, wrapped in an all-metal body, the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro weighs 189 grams. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and sports a 6-inch, full HD (1080×1920) AMOLED display. The C9 Pro is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 SoC – four cores clocked at 1.95GHz and the other half at 1.4GHz. The processor is backed with 6GB of RAM and 64 GB of in-built memory (expandable till 256 GB via a microSD card).

The C9 Pro is a dual-SIM, 4G-enabled phone that packs a 16-megapixel camera at both ends. The rear camera comes with an aperture of f/1.9 and a dual-LED flash. The selfie camera too has the same aperture minus the flash module.

The Galaxy C9 Pro has a fingerprint scanner mounted on its physical home button. It is powered by a 4000mAh battery with fast charging support. Connectivity options on the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro include Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n), GPS, Glonass, Beidou, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
