Samsung Galaxy Note 5, the next instalment of what is the most popular phablet on the planet, has allegedly shown itself in leaked images. Similar to the current gen Note 4 in exterior appearance, the big screen phone has been photographed in pink and white hues. The images of the phone detail the start screen with the name of the phone clearly visible. Another leaked image shows the welcome screen of the device. The rear panel of the phone, however, is not visible in either of the images.
Another source claiming to have information about the said phone asserts that the latest generation model will get a non-removable battery, unlike the current gen model. The phone will also apparently continue to be offered with the S-Pen stylus. The Note 5, according to the reports accompanying the leaked images will get a 5.7 inch to 5.89 inch screen along with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. The thickness of the phone is expected to be reduced to 7.9mm against the Note 4’s 8.5mm. The phone will also get a monstrous 4100 mAh battery and is also expected to get a Type-C USB port.
Another important phone from the Samsung Galaxy line-up to have shown itself prior to its launch is the S6 Edge Plus – an upgrade to the S6 Edge series. Expected to be launched in mid-August, the image, claimed to be that of the S6 Edge Plus details its exterior for the first time. The S6 Edge+ will be a larger screen version of the S6 Edge, possibly with better hardware.
The leaked images show the phone’s start screen reading “Galaxy S6 Edge+” as its official name. There are a few other images too, detailing the front panel with a dual-edge display, similar to the one seen on the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. Other images reveal the official model number of the smartphone as Samsung SM-G928A, running Android Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
With the launch of the S6 Edge+ nearing, we expect more, clearer images showing themselves very soon. Same goes for the Note 5. Stay tuned!
