Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 expected to break cover on February 26

While the South Korean giant earlier hinted that it might give the event a miss, Samsung has confirmed it will participate in the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2017. The company has shared a teaser, which hints at the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 on February 26. The image shows a physical home button that sits under a tablet sized display, similar to the Galaxy Tab S2, which was revealed in 2015.

Leaked information suggests that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will run Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box and feature a 9.7-inch display that will sport a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. To be powered by a Snapdragon 820 SoC, it will carry 4 GB of RAM and will most likely feature a 12MP rear camera and a 5MP front. To be made available in both WiFi and LTE models, the new tablet is said to be 5.6mm thick. To be priced at roughly $600 in its home market, the device will go on sale sometime in March 2017.

For those awaiting the Samsung Galaxy S8, its launch has been shifted further into the month of March and the device should go on sale in the third week of April. To be launched in two screen sizes, the flagship galaxy will miss the flat screen altogether and feature a curved edge display for both the models.
