The Samsung Gear VR Consumer Edition has now begun shipping into US to those customers who pre-ordered it earlier this month. The Gear is priced at US $ 99 and is currently available only on Samsung’s own online portal. Amazon and Best Buy have both run out of stocks and there is no indication regarding it being available anytime soon. Users may be in for a disappointment with two major online retailers running out of stock so soon, however its availability on Samsung’s website still keeps the hope alive for those who want to experience the magic of the VR headset.
