A purported kernel source revealed that Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) is going to have a 5.5-inch full-HD display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. As per the sources the phone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 SoC processor. The phone will sport a 13-megapixel rear camera along with the Samsung S5K3L2XX sensor and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera which will have Samsung S5K5E3YX sensor. The cameras have a 1.1um pixels, and 23mm f/2.2 lens. The phone will also feature a fingerprint sensor. The phone packs a 4300mAh battery. The internal storage of the phone can be increased with the help of a microSD card.
The handset has similar specifications as that of earlier handset’s alleged GFXBench results. Galaxy J7 (2016) would be running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop which was additionally tipped by the benchmark.The phone is also going to feature Adreno 405 GPU. It is going to have 3 GB RAM with an inbuilt storage of 16GB that can be expanded using a microSD card. The benchmark also said that primary camera will feature autofocus functionality along with the face detection feature. Other features that the phone is going to have are accelerometer, Bluetooth, light sensor, GPS, Proximity Sensor, NFC, touch focus features and Wi-Fi.
The original Samsung Galaxy J7 that was launched in July last year had a 5.5-inch Super Amoled display with an HD screen that has a resolution of 720×1280 pixels. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. The phone is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC and a 1.5GB of RAM under-the-hood. It has an internal memory of 16GB. The phone packs a 3000mAh battery that promises to deliver 354 hours of standby time. It sports a 13-megapixel rear autofocus camera that has f/1.9 aperture and 5-megapixel front camera. It was the first smartphone released by the company that features a front-facing flash making it a selfie-focus smartphone.
