Sony launches the new MDR-XB650BT Extra Bass Bluetooth Headphones @ INR 7,990

Sony India launched the new ‘Extra Bass’ Bluetooth headphones in the Indian market on 16th March i.e. Tuesday. The MDR-XB650BT bluetooth headphones will be priced at INR 7,990 which is equivalent to US Dollar 120. The headphones are going to be available in three colour variants- Black, Blue and Red. The product will be available in the sony center as well as major electronic stores across India. The new Sony MDR-XB650BT Extra Bass Bluetooth headphones will be featuring 30mm driver, dedicated Extra Bass diaphragm and a bass booster structure. One-touch Bluetooth connection and music playback via NFC is also offered by the wireless headphones.

The device is also compatible with AAC and aptX Bluetooth codecs. The headset can be recharged with the help of USB connection and it can also deliver 30 hours of continuous music playback. The new MDR-XB650BT Extra Bass Bluetooth headphones will also be having a frequency response of 20Hz-20,000Hz, 95dB/mW sensitivity & 24 ohms impedance. The device weighs around 190 grams. The headphones are designed in such a way that they enhance the playback for deep bass. The fitting is made in such a way that there is an increased contact surface area such that it achieves a stable fit which allows it to withstand with the punchy and deep bass notes.

The headphones have ear-pads with soft structure and fits close to the skin which therefore provides excellent wearing comfort and well-balanced sound. It has a swivel structure design which enables the housing section to be folded flat which makes it easy to store and convenient to carry it wherever you go. During SXSW, the company unveiled its Concept N headphones where users don’t need to plug into their ears. A prototype of its Interactive Tabletop projector was also unveiled which can turn a surface into a touch-sensitive display.
