Sony Wants a Certain Camera Feature from Samsung

Sony has this week finally released its flagship model, the Xperia X in the Indian market. The device comes at an extravagant price tag of INR 48,990. The company’s bezel-less display featuring Xperia XA and the Xperia XA Ultra smart phones are also in the making. Sony stressed on the imaging sensors during the launch of the smart phone. It discussed the imaging sensors not only the ones used in smart phones, but also the ones featured in its DSLR cameras. The Japanese company has also partnered with some OEMs over the years, which now use the company’s Exmor lenses in their own handsets. According to Sony, they have put its best camera sensor till date in the Xperia X.

The company said that their smart phones have new layers of intelligent technology and Xperia features in camera, battery and design. With a Xperia camera an user can shoot in sharp focus and takes spontaneous photos. The shots are captured in approximately 0.61 seconds, while the camera start-up is twice as fastIn Xperia X series the Predictive Hybrid Autofocus allows the user to choose a subject of his choice and then predicts its motion. Xperia X comes with a 64 Bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor while the Xperia XA features a 64 Bit MediaTek MT6755 processor.  Both the Xperia X and Xperia XA smart phones have dual SIM capabilities and support 4G network.

According to Times of India, Hiroshi Takano, Deputy Head of Research, Sony,  in an interview said that one camera feature that he would like to include in the Xperia handsets is its ability to preview the images quickly (at the corner of the screen) after they have been shot.
