The next Apple Watch could include a thinner micro-LED display

Today’s generation of Apple watch model has OLED pressure-sensitive displays. But, in the second half of 2017 it is rumored that the next generation Apple Watch will be launched which will feature micro Led displays. In comparison to the OLED displays the micro LED displays are said to be thinner and lighter. They will come with not only an improved colour gamut and increased brightness but also better resolution. In 2014 a US based micro LED developer acquired LuxVue Technology and they will supply the micro LED displays is reported by DigiTimes.
