Thin and lightweight Lenovo Ideapad 710s and 510s launched for INR 73,390 and INR 51,090

Lenovo has started the month of October with a bang. The brand has launched an array of consumer laptops in the Indian market ranging from affordable INR 17,490 to a premium INR 1,28,090. Speaking of the mid-range and the upper mid-range, Lenovo has introduced the Ideapad 510s and 710s in the segment for a price of INR 51,090 and INR 73,390 respectively. These laptops are more about the style and elegance more than performance.

Lenovo Ideapad 510s

At 1700 gms, the Ideapad 510s is 19.3 mm thick and is claimed to be 20% thinner and 30% lighter than most laptops in its class. It gets an aluminum cover with nickel plated logo, aluminum palm rest, and diamond-cut touchpad. The display on this laptop is a 14″ Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS unit with In-Plane Switching technology. A Harmon audio equipment with Dual speakers do the duties on the Ideapad 510s.

Lenovo Ideapad 710s

The Ideapad 710s is lighter and thinner than the Ideapad 510s. It gets an ultra-thin bezel that measure at 13.9mm and a 13.3″ Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS display. The inside of this machine is housed in a magnesium-aluminum casing which makes it look and feel premium. The keyboard is backlit and is coupled with a diamond-cut touchpad; the 180-degree hinge connecting the screen and the keyboard adds more convenience to the usability. Powering the Ideapad 710s is the Intel 6th Gen Core
