Tim Cook will make his first late night show appearance on Stephen Colbert, Tuesday, Sept. 15

Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, will appear on Colbert’s new CBS talk show next Tuesday. Colbert announced the booking on Twitter, posing with his Apple Watch prominently displayed on his left wrist. CBS confirmed the appearance.

Stephen Colbert, previously of Comedy Central’s The Daily Show and Colbert Report, took over hosting duties at CBS’s late night variety show earlier this week on Tuesday after David Letterman’s recent retirement. Cook is the latest high-profile technology executive to drop by Colbert’s Late Show; Tesla founder Elon Musk and Uber CEO Travis Kalanick were among the first week’s guests.

Colbert sported an Apple Watch during the run up to his new show’s premier earlier this summer, though he hasn’t worn it on set during the first week of broadcasting. An Apple Watch with Link Bracelet, of course, is seen in the tweet announcing Cook as an upcoming guest so we’ll have to see if he brings it out for the interview.

On his previous show, Colbert promoted the iPhone 6 between its announcement and launch on Comedy Central so the new models will probably be a topic.

So when you can tune in to catch the Apple CEO interviewed by Colbert? Tuesday, September 15th at 11:35 PM ET. This should be good.
