Many users across the world have reported that the popular micro blogging site has suffered outage and is down due to some technical glitch. Even at this moment, some parts of the world are yet to recover from the outage whereas others continue to face issues while logging in or posting tweets. This is the second time this year that twitter has gone down. On January 19 this year, it was the first instance of twitter servers not functioning as they are supposed to. That instance was also reported from users across the world.
Users from India, America, Australia and others were greeted by technical error messages when they tried to log in to their respective accounts. Users trying to log in through their desktops were greeted by a message saying “Something is technically wrong”. Although no reason for the disruption has been given by twitter yet, according to some technical websites, the website is facing some kind of service disruption. Users who have been able to log in after the disruption and are now able to use the services properly vented their anger on the site itself. Last time, when twitter suffered an outage, although just for around ten minutes, twitter had apologized for the same in a blog post without elaborating on what caused the technical glitch. Once the services are up and running smoothly once again, we can expect a similar kind of communication from Twitter which may tell her clearly how far the outage had reached before it was controlled and rectified by its engineers.
