Vernee is a China-based brand which unveiled Vernee Apollo, its flagship smart phone, this week. The phone packs a 6GB of RAM which makes it stand out in the crowd i.e. it is the highlight of the phone. The same feature was seen in Vivo Xplay5 Elite recently. The company revealed during an event held in China on Wednesday that the phone will pack MediaTek’s newest Helio X20 (MT6797) SoC which is another notable feature added to the phone. Android Authority also said that the Vernee Apollo smart phone will feature a 5.5-inch QHD display having a “2K” resolution and 3D Force Touch capability i.e. pressure sensitive touch display.

The phone features an internal memory of 128GB. The new smart phone will sport a 21-megapixel rear camera which has Sony IMX230 sensor. It will also sport an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies. It is also predicted that the phone will have USB Type-C port. The phone will be having an all-metal design. The company has not revealed all the specifications of the phone and also has not mentioned much detail about the Force Touch feature on the Apollo smart phone. Anyways, the company did confirm that the phone will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.
All other details on innards, pricing and availability will be revealed by the company only during the launch. During the same event it was confirmed by MediaTek that deca-core Helio X20 (MT6797) which is aimed at high-end market will be hitting the market in the coming month. They also claimed that, Helio X20 was world’s first mobile processor to have tri-cluster CPU architecture i.e. it houses three processor clusters. Helio X20 was showcased for the first time last year. On Thursday, Mediatek also unveiled a slightly improved and a more powerful Helio X25 SoC.
